Privacy Policy for the B.E.G. One App

§ 1 Information on the collection of personal data

(1) The B.E.G. One App is only used locally on your end device and is used for remote control and project management. An exchange with other end devices/users is possible via the additional service B.E.G. One Cloud. There is a separate privacy policy for the B.E.G. One Cloud service. In the following, we provide information on the collection of personal data when using the app. Personal data is all data that can be related to you personally, e.g. name, address, e-mail addresses, user behaviour.

(2) The responsible party pursuant to Article 4 (7) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (DS-GVO) is B.E.G. Brück Electronic GmbH, Gerberstraße 33, 51789 Lindlar (see our imprint). (3) When you contact us by e-mail or via a contact form - especially in the case of support - your e-mail address and, if provided by you, your name and telephone number will be stored by us in order to answer your questions. We delete the data accruing in this context after the storage is no longer necessary or - in the case of statutory retention obligations - restrict the processing.

§ 2 Your rights

(1) You have the following rights vis-à-vis us with regard to the personal data concerning you:

- Right to information,
- right to correction or deletion,
- right to restriction of processing,
- right to object to processing,
- right to data portability.

(2) You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data in our company.

§ 3 Collection of personal data when using the app

(1) When you download the app, the required information is transferred to the App Store, i.e. in particular user name, e-mail address and customer number of your account, time of download, payment information if applicable and the individual device identification number. We have no influence on this data collection and are not responsible for it. We only process the data insofar as it is necessary for downloading the app to your end device.

(2) For the use of Bluetooth Low Energy for radio and communication, it is necessary that the location service of your end device is activated. These services are not possible without the use of location data. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DS-GVO.
